helo today i will buy new card for 1080P and i dont know which to buy RTX 2080 or RTX 2070? if i will buy RTx 2080 for 1080P will i get more power and more fps against RTX 2070?

also i was thinking to buy RTx 2060 but it has only 6VRam

so tell me what to do?

Rx 580, Vega 56 or RTX 2060. Absolutely no point in spending more. Also, 6GB is fine for 1080p and even 1440p.

do you believe that at 1080p the 2080 offers no advantage over the 2070.???

because a lot of people are teeling me that in 1080p the rtx 2080 will not offer big boost against 2070

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EfZhq0DIKQ

see this video

rtx 2080 is better for 20 fps more than rtx 2070 this i saw in that video

the point is is it worth to pay the double money for rtx 2080:? for 20 fps only>? for 1080p;

Anything above vega 56/2060 will result in being CPU limited in 1080p games with sensible settings.
If you do something silly like use MSAA 8x you might have some difference between them, but that's not something one should do since it's a really heavy setting with little visual impact.
I'd honestly by a cheaper card and a proper monitor along with it. 56 and 2060 do 1440p well, and are much cheaper than 2080.

I am on an RX470 4Gb playing Witcher3, Sniper Elite4, Warhammer 2 on high settings good frames and 1080p.
Absolutely 0 reasons to buy a 2060, 70, 80 card for 1080p play

i have this monitor https://www.asus.com/Monitors/VG279Q/ so in 1080p with 4770k or zen 2 or 9900k with one rtx 2070 and 2080 what fps i will have in all these situtations?/

if we calcuate all these things in average? with all these 2 cpus and my monitor which have and with these 2 cards rtx 2070 and 2080?

FPS varies per games & settings, no one can give you an estimation numbers wise. Best to just look at a variety of benchmarks for the cards you're considering & games you play, even an RX590 can get certain games into the 100's at 1080p max settings, and with some sensible settings tweaks can probably get almost any game there, given all these cards you're looking at are notably more powerful you should easily be able to get 1080p@144 on any game that isn't CPU limited with any card from V56/RTX2060 up without turning down anything you'd notice.

No one can tell you what the performance difference is worth though, that's a personal question.

can you answere me in all these things p[lease? because in 2 hours i will have to order new gpu..

i mean what performance has rtx 2070 againsti rtx 2080 in 1080p;;

is it worth to buy rtx 2080 for 1080p?>

for 1080p which to buy rtx 2070 or rtx 2080?

this i mean

and if i will buy rtx 2080 will i see boost in fps against rtx 2080 in 1080p;

because some people say that rtx 2080 is not for 1080p for this i am asking what to do?

Yes you should buy a 2070 especially for that monitor. It'll give you plenty of horsepower to take advantage of the 144 Hz refresh rate and Nvidia cards now work on most FreeSync monitors.

A 2070 might technically be overkill for 1080 but in 4 years when you still don't need to upgrade, you'll be glad you went overkill. Or if you ever decide to jump to 1440 you'll have plenty of GPU to handle it.

what you mean when you say A 2070 might technically be overkill for 1080 ?

if i will buy a 2070 for 1080p how long will last me for to play games in ultra settings? 3 years or less?/

i was thinking to buy rtx 2080 because now i know that is overkill for 1080p but after 2 years the rtx 2080 will be standar for 1080p? do you agree?

also how fast is rtx 2080 agaINST 2070? ? in 1080p;/?

ALSO I HAVE ONE ANOTHER QUESTION NOW I HAVE ONE 4770K BUT IN SOME MONTHS I WILL BUY NEW CPU AND ETC

SO MY QUESTION IS with 4770k with these 2 cards rtx 2080 and rtx 2070 in 1080p

what fps i will have with rtx 2080 and what fps i will have with rtx 2070; with the monitor which i have now?

this i mean.

and if i will buy new cpu lets say 9900k what fps i will have with rtx 2080 and what fps i will have with rtx 2070; with the monitor which i have now?

You will see more FPS yes, but the difference won't be as big as if you were at a higher resolution, what someone means by overkill is that it's likely to get such high FPS on even the most demanding games or use such high settings that it doesn't deliver a perceivable benefit in current titles. Like you say, sometimes it might be a 20FPS difference, which could be a big deal if that's 40fps vs 60fps but you're much less likely to notice if it's say 100FPS vs 120FPS.

The bolded point deserves to be emphasized. Most people that focus on benchmarks from websites / YT channels are too focused on the bar graphs, not the NUMBERS BEHIND those graphs. A chart showing a 120FPS comparison to 100FPS can be made to LOOK like a huge difference because the bar is longer. But gameplay wise, it's hardly any difference at all.

i want to see this video with one person he compares in games in 1080p with rtx 2080 with 2600k against 9700k,, but this person he is using one monitor which has 60 refresh rate..

and i want to calcuate how many fps will i have with rtx 2070 with my 4770k and my monitor which is 144 mhz?

this person he has botle but also he has monitor which is 60mhz

so with my 4770k and rtx 2070 and 144 mhz refresh rate what fps i will have?>

Mike, several people have explained and advised you on the correct card for your needs yet you keep going on about 2070 and 2080 so just go an get a 2080 and be happy.
