Gaming Mouse Mat recomendations.....

Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for a replacement gaming mouse pad, I've currently got one them Qpad Pro Gaming Surface ones, which I had from overclockers a few years ago which they no longer sell.

The Mouse I have is the Logitech G5 by the way.

Anyway I duly opted for the Corsair MM400 which arrived today, but it glides to fast over the pad.

Can anyone recomend me something like the Qpad Mouse Ones please?

Thanks
Rob

I use a technet large desk mat they are pretty big, but for just the mouse I use a steelseries hard mat really good for tracking movement and they can take a beating.

Pretty much any mousepad out there, it all depends on your own preference. If you want a large one, small or medium. Hard or soft etc etc...

Historically, when I was into FPS gaming, I always bought the SteelSeries QcK+, which has now been renamed to the SteelSeries QcK Large.

I feel that it's a good mat with the right blend of glide and mouse-stopping friction.

The dimensions are 45cm horizontal, 40cm vertical, and 3mm thick.

In my opinion, the price point of the SteelSeries QcK Large is reasonable, and certainly more sensible than that attached to products from Japan-based mouse pad specialist Artisan, for which I never saw the need to buy.

If you need something bigger (a so-called "desk mat"), at time of writing, there are three larger versions, as follows:

* QCK 3XL -- 122cm horizontal, 59cm vertical, 3mm thick.
* QCK 4XL -- 122cm horizontal, 76.2cm vertical, 3 mm thick.
* QCK 5XL -- 160cm horizontal, 80cm vertical, 3 mm thick.

Hope that helps a little.
