Post A Picture of Your Last Purchase

Damn, Warchild has my dream monitor, I refuse to pony up the $$$ though, LOL!

Crazy as it sounds.. its almost worth it if you removed the ASUS tax. Absolutely beautiful to use.

SoTTR, Horizon ZD, and Anthem made my eyes explode. Did not expect to see such details. Theres so many much smoke/fog etc that become visible too.

It's the same with this Nano IPS I just got, Ok no HDR but holy crap I'm seeing details in STO, Destiny 2 and Breakpoint I didn't know were there.

Didn't buy it but was gifted it, Now to wait 10 hours while it downloads ^_^

HZD was the first game in a long time that dropped my jaw on multiple occasions. Then I played it in HDR and it blew my mind even more. It's one of the best looking games of the past 20 years.

It's good looking yeah but I'm not being wowed much by the environment, Facial gfx are great, Think I just need to play it more.

Side note, Got Death Stranding.

For sure, you need to play way past the intro / training sequence. You'll be wowed later for sure. :D

I'm up to the part where I need to get to Mothers Crown, The landscape looks good but honestly not wowing me, I think landscapes in general are starting to all look graphically decent now i.e AC:Valhalla, Death Stranding, The Division etc... so nothing so far has made me stop and say "Woah", I think It'll have to take something really amazing to make me get a nerd on ^_^

Once you start exploring the world and get up high it will be a pretty big difference in woahness :D

Also consider it's a PS4 title that was ported. It's impressive for a console and still holds up to vast amount of PC titles. It wasn't my all time favorite but it was definitely good imo. I still think GOW was easily the best Sony IP of that generation of games.

It's pretty no doubt but TBH I'm more impressed by Death Strandings landscape which uses a newer version of the Decima engine, Ok for the most part it's just rocky/grassy areas but the detail is fantastic and the random waterfalls look amazing.

Smart tv went dumb this solves that issue :)

Something to tinker with today hopefully get it all working with alexa, then i can really mess around when mum is watching corrie and emerdale lol :D these were at least a hell of a lot cheaper than the phillips hue bulbs maybe one day these will come down even more so i'd do the whole house still not at base bulb prices just yet.

My big ass 6800XT needs some support noticed it started to sag a little it's a big card after all, simple fix :)

Pretty nice little boat just go careful :D

I ordered the retroid pocket 2 off ebay sold out on the site and preorders are weeks away but didn't pay over the odds for it, would have prefered the newer ice model or the snes version but wanted to get it new rather than a used one can never know if it has an issue otherwise.

The idea of having all my fave games from years past on a portable device is really nice plays tons of stuff, hoping i can get the dreamcast stuff working to a playable state even if 25-30fps it'll be perfectly fine for my needs.
Something to tinker with but it plays a hell of a lot of games. Thou given the funds i'd spend 1k on the indiegogo site ones that have ryzens built into them or the $199 android that is meant to be coming that also looks good but for £90 this will serve as a good starting point for me to get things going portable as much as my phone is pretty powerful it's not the same as having good control methods :)

Given yourself the best possible excuse to enjoy the outdoors in one of most beautiful countries on this planet? :D
Now that you put it like that... :D Finland is quite pretty but it's not exactly Canada, is it?

Cheers @KingNosser & @Dark NighT!

@Excalabur50 I hope I've avoided the most costly pitfalls... The engine has been maintained according to schedule, it's a two-stroker (60bhp e-tec from 2007) and I can store it myself. It has also only been used in fresh water and I plan to keep it that way. But yeah, can still get hairy regardless. :D Another one is "boat is a hole in a water you throw money into"

Enjoy it buddy, you only live once and it's only money and you can't take it with you when you go, so enjoy it whilst you can :)

LG G1 oled this tv is don corleon, it was a toss up between the Sony AJ90 or the G1 after hours upon weeks of reviews went with the G1 cos i do like to pew pew a fair bit, if it was just for movies then it would of deffo been the Sony but for gaming the new LG's have that bit extra plus the 4 hdmi ports to the Sony's 2 and one of them is the eARC / ARC

55'' is the smallest they do replaced my aging Sony

i see a lot of ppl say ouu 32 to 42 is the best size for pc monitor /gaming ect ect .. ballderdash!!! if you have the space to throw up an 80'' then i say its be the best thing wont regret it

all i gota do now is blow dust of my denon surround speakers and amp, even tho might get a new one for the hdmi connection but optical from the tv will be just fine for now

I understand this as a few years ago now when flatscreens were new and smart tv's were early, I got a 32" bravia never did like only having 2 hdmi's thou one is arc. That first TV were DOA when i got it, the replacement lasted just under a year then they upgraded me to a 42" and so far touch wood it's been fine :)

Your new shiny TV looks nice thou enjoy it, surround sound is a must for me it's better than the cinema i don't have to over pay and i don't have to leave the house lol.

I think the only thing about modern TV's at least if smart is fully expect support to die off after a few years down to basic apps, so for me getting a firestick was a must recently it made my tv have a brain again :D
