Recommend a PSU?

Hello everyone,

I was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations for an all black PSU, that is 750W, fully modular, semi passive and that is platinum or preferably titanium specced?

I've always gone Corsair and I'm currently rockin an HX750i. Although, when positioned fan downwards in my case, it's spec sticker is on the top and showing through the cases PSU shroud grill. Which doesn't look all that nice in my opinion.

Thanks,
Dawelio

As above, it's a legal requirement to have the info/compliance/warning sticker. The seasonic Prime series have a fairly small and inoffensive sticker that is black with white text. Though the titanium version has a mirror finish to half of the fan grille. The platinum version only has the mirror finish on the prime badge, everything else being black.

I've got a 750W platinum and have zero complaints with it so far. The warranty was probably the biggest selling point followed by the reviews showing class leading performance.

I believe the spec stickers are a legal requirement and are on all of them.

Yeah okay, fair enough, I can buy the legal requirements... But do all of them actually put them on the top and none of the sides of the PSU for example?

Back in the day they used to put it on the left side. Ironically back then the psu was up the top of the case so guess what was always facing outwards?

I imagine that with the help of a heat gun you could probably move it from it’s current location. I don’t know what would happen with the warranty since it’s just a sticker.

EDIT:
Just noticed that my super flower PSU in my server has the sticker in the old location on the left side. You might be lucky and find that they still do that.

I'm a big fan and believer in EVGA's Supernova series. I've had two now and they've been flawless. Plus they review near perfect on Jonny Guru. Hard to impossible to beat for the money considering they're around $100.

So now I'm just wondering if this particular one has a clean top or not, as I have a new weird Google image design layout, kinda like Pinterest, which makes it difficult to look at images etc: https://www.webhallen.com/se/product/199771-EVGA-PowerSupply-PSU-SuperNOVA-750-G2-750W?ref=Prisjakt

for me i want the Evga Supernova series.. if you are on to aesthetics go on a RGB Fanned psu =)

Yeah, but that’d be quite pointless. Since the PSU is facing fan downwards and it’s completely covered under the PSU shroud.

i have three EVGA G2 and G3 PSU and three seasonic prime.

750w, 850w, 1000w models.

you can´t go wrong with those two brands when choosing the better models.
