Hey, so I spent a lot of time in the past few weeks comparing and reviewing all kinds of parts for my new build and today I finaly completed it. Everything but the PSU, I am not 100% sure how much watt I need for my build and I was hoping to receive some help from you guys.

Note: I dont mind spending an extra 60$ +/- to get a semi or fully modular PSU.

Here is the spec.

It tells you at the top of your partpicker list - 461W

My rule of thumb (others may disagree...) is to go with a power factor of 1.5 if you're going to run the system as standard, and a factor of 2 if you're going to overclock.

And you wouldn't be spending the extra bucks on a K CPU if you weren't going to overclock, so I'd recommend a 1000W PSU.

 Why on earth would you even consider reconmending a 1000W PSU?? That is way overkill for OPs system.

OP a quality 650W would be plenty for you, unless you are considering a multi GPU config.

I personally prefer the following:

Silverstone, EVGA, Superflower, XFX, Corsair. Fractal are pretty decent too.

You dont want to over draw or under use a psu. you get maximum efficiency when you run them at a sweet spot which i think (and dont mind if i get corrected here) at about 60% of the max rated output.
