TROLLING !

That just popped up on OCUK MM new for £45. It needs a rivet replacing and the audio port doesn't work.

For the past year I have been gaming with some friends down in Hampshire. One of them has a whole room built as a LAN room, so whenever I am down there we go round and have a LAN night. It's epic fun.

Any way, due to COVID recently and so on I decided to donate the most hideous motherboard ever made to the cause.

Now Gary (the host) hates flashy PCs. So what better case to go with that board than BIG CHUNGUS. LOL I crack up every time I say that.

I can't wait to rock up at his house and drag that up the drive.

Wanted a nice clean monitor for a change to attach to my desk arm so dipped into my savings and bought the Dell Ultrasharp UP3216Q 32" 4K with "Premiere colour", I'm starting to prirotise visual quality over "how fast dem hertz be" ^_^

Getting ready for the next build with the 6900XT / 5950X. As much as I dislike a lot of EK stuff, these fittings caught my eye ("satin titanium" finish):

Color bands add a nice touch, but of course those cost extra:

Majority Atlas Mini Bluetooth PC Soundbar

It'll do what i want it for was already £5 off then they gave me a 25% discount on top was only £15 total amazon prime, pretty darn good, it has all the basics, one of the best tech deals I've seen in a while :)

ok it's nothing compared to my surround sound system, but it's portable and small to fit on the desk or take out in the garden :)

Idk how but even has a 3 year warranty kinda impressed :D

Managed to get a replacement front and top panel for the Corsair 680X, Right now there are tempered glass panels in place which do restrict airflow by quite a bit especially the front section, With a few screws the front comes away and the top comes away with 4 little thumb screws, Should work very nicely for airflow :)

Now is a great time to order from Corsair directly. Seems all the parts are in. I just bought another 8x120 fan tray which I will combine with the 3d printed connectors I used. Ordered on Monday and got it 2 days later all the way from Germany. Quite happy about that.

I won't lie the glass panel on the front of my Lian Li was killing the GPU. 71c on a dual rad....

Took the front panel off, it immediately dropped to 49c.

I've ordered some machined spacers and longer thumb nuts. It's partially my fault for installing those Halos. They are a quarter inch thick or so, which leaves the GPU about 3mm for air.

Panels arrived today, Took maybe 5 minutes to properly remove the front glass and 30 seconds for the top, All in all internal temps have dropped by around 8'c at load, Honestly case designers need to stop putting sheets of glass infront of fan intakes, Same with the top, The exhaust had maybe 1cm of breathing room so all the hot air from the case seems to create a pocket that cannot escape as fast as it should which in turn raises temps a little, Such moronic ideas to choke off airflow.

As long as people keep buying those dumb glass cases they won't change a thing.

RGB sells after all. Pushes you to buy more of the same brand products which have RGB from fans to AIOs or RGB hubs etc.

The case itself is great, Easy to work in, Great cable management, Lots of space, It's just the design choice to use a solid glass panel at the front choking off airflow that I find idiotic, They could us metal mesh panels for the front and top and still be able to see all the RGB but with worlds better airflow.
