Corsair 570X side panel cover from ColdZero, Nicely hides all the cables ^_^

You are that lazy. You would rather buy whole new panel than do cable management. :D :P

I can only answer that with a complete and utter shameless Yes :D

Also got these to replace the stock black thumb screws on the PCI slots.

Now that we know about the snake's nest behind the glass, isn't that just lipstick on a pig?? JK! The glass looks good and those thumbscrews will make it pop.

It's not far from a rats nest ^_^

I'll have to set a day aside to really go overboard with the cable management back there when I have the time :)

Amazon UK. £74.99 with Prime shipping. I also bought Super Mario 3D Land (£13.99) and then a used version of Mario Golf World Tour for £12.50.

Apparently there is a way to use an SD card to exploit it too. The tool for it costs mere pounds. I have not done mine yet. A mate said he would do it for me when I am feeling better and back home.

My one is on Amazon too if you prefer platforming to racing.

And they have the Zelda one out there too, which was my fave in colour but stupid money here in the UK

There's an Amazon Warehouse used like new one there for $81 :)
Thank you so much, I will check it out!!:):)

Well that is the last of the bike parts.

Because mine are knackered.

Because mine is too small so I had to remove all of the comfort pads and just wear rock hard polystyrene on my noggin and

Carbon and Titanium. I can not tell you how many hours I have wasted trying to find a V brake that perfectly hits the spot without needing to sell a kidney. I only had to sell half a kidney for that and it comes with a Tit/carbon lever too.

I do likes a sale, me.

OK so back from bikes to computers. I need to loop up the Fury X. Few issues. Firstly the positioning of the GPU and how the hose needs to be. So I got this.

And will use the 45 deg I have as the intake. I am sure with the three I can work something out that works.

Then a conundrum. It's quite ironic. About ten days ago I was sitting at home typing from what I thought was a completed PC. Then the Fury X happened and I realised I had made a mistake.. The board I am using uses two 8 pin EPS. One for the 8 phases and one for the PCIE lanes. Now usually they have a 6 pin PCIE but no, Alienware had to go and bloody use two EPS. It won't post without it. I have this PSU.

https://cougargaming.com/en/products/psus/cmd/

I have the 600w model. 49 amps on the 12v rail, more than enough. Problem is the PSU has one EPS (as do about 90% of PSUs) and two 8 pin PCIE. So I cut up the second PCIE to make the second EPS. Cool beans ! lol then I got a Fury X which wants two 8 pin PCIE. DOH. Mind you, either way I would have had to mess around. I am not worried about current draw, because the CPU uses 80w and is locked to F. So I have ordered this.

I only want the plugs off of that. Then I got 3 sets of these (so 6)

And this.

I know, right now you are thinking "WTF is that for?". Click the link for the PSU again. The PSU is active and has a micro usb so you can monitor what voltage you are eating and loads of other cool stuff. I've never hooked it up lmao.

Oh I got this too.

I did think about outsourcing the cables. Then my pal Gareth (who saves my life all of the time. Seriously, a real true friend) offered to make the wires (male to double female splits) so I am going to braid them myself.

I contacted To The Wire and he gave me a big lecture on overloading etc etc. Yup, sorry mate forgot to tell you I'm a noob alright ! If that is the case then why do Corsair, EVGA and pretty much every one else make a single 8 pin plug with 8 single wires that then daisy chain to two f*****g 6/8 pins?

Makes you wonder huh? who is the noob.

Any way, that will be his lot. I don't like businesses that argue with you instead of actually listening and making the sale. If he wants to turn business down that is his shout.

OK well I had a think earlier. I had some left over cash, and thought about the set up I will be running here at my mum's. I have a keyboard (mech, apparently) that I bought a while back for £20 on Amazon. It's horrible. The stock keys were so slippery it was almost impossible to type on. So basically I hated it. My mate gave me some Corsair keys, which are nice and matt and grippy, but then I realised the keys twisted. It really is a total POS.

OK so you all probably know what KB I am using now. It's a Magicforce 60%. I have had it well over two years, it cost me £30 and I love it to bits. I have had one switch die, but I simply replaced it with a Cherry blue, job done. I slap the s**t out of my spacebar, so I am not surprised the switch died. I've spilled coke in it, I've spat tea in it, I've dropped solder in it and god knows what else. I really have given it a tough life. However, it keeps coming back fighting and it has made me realise I don't need some stupid long KB on my desk.

So, with a budget of £75 I started looking around. I actually found the new Alienware Pro keyboard for £75 (new) instead of £120, but after doing some research I found out it uses Kalih switches, the same as my £30 board. I was then looking on Amazon and I saw this..

£23.99 :O So I ordered it. The best part is I won't have to change my sitting position, stance ETC. I can type on mine with my eyes closed I bloody LOVE IT.

So, £52 left.. What to do? I am sure you have seen mine before, but let me recap (lol).

"Miami". So for my second one I got this.

Why?

The two 8 pins are orientated correctly and they are adjustable.

Perhaps I misunderstood you. I took your meaning as yours was for a Fury, and that I would need a Fury-like card. I see now that you might have meant that YOU were hoping it fits a Fury. I would think so, but you will soon know = )

The issue is the recess on the Fury X I read about this on a LTT thread a while back to do with the Powerlink and AMD cards, while the Powerlink connectors will line up and they're the correct polarity they won't click into the securing tabs.

I don't understand why becasuse the 8 pins are in exactly the same location as the 980Ti.

Ah well, will see when it gets here I suppose. I'm sure I can make it fit somehow.. muhahaha. If you can remember the thread link me please dude. I can't find sod all on Google. Do note though, my FX is under water. So there is literally 1slot of cooling on it.

OK this is the Powerlink here, plug side.

1080Ti edge connectors. Note, they are lined up right onto the edge of the PCB.

How my Fury X looks, only mine is acetal.

eS22CRT.jpg

And as you can see, they are both pretty much identical.

NbAatXG.jpg

Ahhhh hang on a minute, the penny drops ! It looks like the stock cooler for the Fury X is about 2mm proud of the actual sockets. NP, that is what Dremels are for :D

That's if, of course, the WB is also 2mm proud which I would doubt, because EK were not trying to cram a huge AIO pump into it :D

At very worst I will remove the block and shave the 2mm off the offending area on the block (as no water runs within about 10cm of it)
