So I literally had all my Z97 components delivered just as they announced the X99, so I took back the CPU, motherboard and RAM and decided on 2011-V3 instead. To be honest the 5960X is way out of my price range so that's out of the question, but I'm still not sure which of the other two CPU's...

Long story short it took the Danish vendors forever to get the Z97 Formula so I took advantage of the 14 day return period and decided to invest in the X99 instead. I know that I'll be needing a Mounting plate for my EK Supremacy waterblock but will that fit the new X99 boards?

So i decided on this fine reservoir and noticed I could get it in a nice res/pump combo, that way I won't have to find a way to mount the pump its all just lovely jubbly. But besides the mounting part and extra tubing are there any performance loss or gain for that matter in a res/pump combo...
