i can put a blank dvd in and it spins up, recognises the blank and says do i wish to format. if i click yes then it just hangs its a samsung drive that was working fine. now it doesn accept any media - cd or dvd blank or written have googled a few things that suggested removing and rebooting...

Gigabyte p35 ds3r wont boot past the splash screen. Came back from uni and booted and it just sat there. Can't TAB to post or DEL to get into BIOS. I need to do some uni work!!!! Someone help me!!! Is there a "force failsafe" type option to reset the bios to standard settings?

And a loud buzzing sound goes off... then it cuts back in again. It's an intel stock cooler and fan. Is there a setting in the bios I can change to a) stop it cutting out ?

C2D 2160 Running @ 2.88Ghz Temps are 28 Idle and 59 under load (Orthos Mem / Cpu test over night). Standard volts and running on stock cooling. Everything's on auto ish.. It's a new system and I'm new to the BIOS but I'm sure there's some memory tweaking I can do, but for now, and 80%...
