Hi OC3D users and viewers!

I want to present you my pride and joy.

For a long time that I had an idea to build a computer case.
Everything was hand cuted (using Dremel, Scrool Saw, Files and other manual machines) driled and sanded.
After a lot of hours, headaches, setbacks, injuries (managed to drill my finger 2 times :rolleyes::eek::eek:) I've got it done.
And trust me, I couldnt believe that I was finally done with it.
Before I go to the photos, this are the specs:

  • Motherboard - Asus Sabertooth 990fx

  • CPU - Amd Phenom 8150 Black Edition

  • GPU - Asus Radeon 7870 2gb (x2 crossfire)

  • RAM - 16gb Corsair Vengeance 1600 (4x4)

  • PSU - Corsair TX750 (non modular :( )

  • Storage - 60gb SSD + 4HDD (8tb all together)

For the watercooling I'm using the following (for now):

  • Pump - Phobya DC12- 260

  • CPU block- Aquacomputer Kyros AM3

  • Reservoire- Aquacomputer aqualis ECO

  • Radiator- ALPHACOOL NEXXXOS XT45 FULL COPPER 240mm

Enough talking, right?! Let see the pictures! :D

So, this is it people. This is Zaboc. At this point it's my main machine. Soon I'll do some changes. I want to change the watercooling [rigid tubing and a more powerfull pump, sell the 7870 so I can buy a GPU that supports watercooling].
The next changes will be the Fans and PSU (SilverStone are so awesome that they want to help me out on this build even though I've already finished it. Thanks SilverStone) and a new SSD. For this changes I've to preety much dismantle everything ahah.

Hope you guys and girls enjoyed it and hopefuly you can give me your opinion!

Wish you the continuation of a great day\night!!

Although not to my taste I can tell you've put a lot of hard work into her and that you really like it which shows well done

Really nice work it looks very industrial. I love the way the case opens on it's hinges. The only things I'd critique - and bear in mind I have zero machining and modding skills - is the crossfire bridge sticks out like a sore thumb (or drilled finger) and the blue ram looks out of place with the rest of the colours.

Top work though! Very creative.

While this is not to my taste it is obvious that this person love working on his PC and had produced something that is truly unique. Well done.

It is great to see an AMD CPU based build, it is no fun when there is no variety.

Hi everyone!

First of all, thanks for all the words and compliments and also the sugestions.

Yes the Crossfire do not look that well. I've been thinking about a cover, and, when I finish the Tj05, I'll do some changes here, including that crappy thing eheh.

About the ram colour... I need to change not also the ram colour, but the MB cooler as well, since it is green.
There are a lot of things that I would love to change but for now, I can't afford any :(

About using AMD, I actually had someone asking me "why are you putting so much effort on an AMD rig?!". My answer?! "The better question is Why not?!"

Yes, it is a little warm, specially passing behind the radiator. But damn, I'm a AMD Fanboy and will always be! :)

Thanks for all your words. I'm really proud of this case and I just hope I can soon finish it with all the changes I want to do to it.

So, hopefully, I can start a buildlog very soon with all the changes! :D

Wish you all the rest of a great day!

I agree it's not to my taste either, But i don't have to look at it everyday as long as your happy with it it doesn't really matter what other people think

Definitely different :D Well done man! And btw, your switches are the right way around! Down should be on! Look at any amplifiers :)
