Hi all,

does anyone know if it makes any difference to performance if i was to remove the black and yellow sleeving off the 3 heat sinks?

If you're refering to those metal plates.. :S I doubt it would be of any significance.. Are you trying to erk another Mh out of something?

no just want to make sure if i remove them that i wont lose performance as i dont want the yellow lol

I shouldn't think so, there might be some glue/tape residue which will require removing though, depends how it separates ?

I think there are small screws, I know for a fact that the GD-xx boards use 2 small screws.

Could easily be But they just look like thin metal sheets that are stuck on for effect from the high res pics I looked at, there could easily be a screw hidden somewhere though!

I have the "MSI Z77 MPower" and the only thing that hold them on is glue. And they can easy be removed whit out any performance lose.
