Other than Native USB 3.0 on the Z77 boards is there any other benifit in all aspects including overclocking from leaving my Maximus Gene-z Gen 3 Z68 to a Z77 board. My board supports the Ivy line with the BIOS update and has 2 PCI 3.0 slots (Active with only Ivy CPU).

You say "nothing really" I want to know if I will still get the same performance give or take margin of error as say the z77 version of my board in terms of overclocking. Or will I encounter stability issues over the z77 version of my board. So basically the ONLY difference between Z77 and Z68 is native USB 3?

I think in the best case scenario you would probably get an extra 100 or 200 Mhz bump. I'm only guessing, but the performance gain will most likely not be very significant.

KOS,
like above, the sandy chip is the throttle in that scenario. memory controller, pci lanes, virtu and lil of no value to go forward for Z77. if i find a GD65 or
MPOWER well enough in price, i might go, just depends, just for color. my
EVGA P67 SLI handles everything except onboard USB 3.0 header (which i
own zero USB 3.0 devices) the only thing would be more SATA ports from
6 to 8.
