We'd be happy to add extra news staff. As a prerequisite, we do expect consistency and dedication. It's simply unfair to expect others to carry non-performing members. If you would like to apply and feel you can assist us, feel free to slip me a pm. :)
 
I think OC3D news is OK.

There are a lot of news posts which are old news tho as kempez said. But then with such a small news team it's not surprising.

Not sure if it has been done or is actively done, but you could include stuff like security patches/updates in the news. Or new workarounds to windows security issues. This might get a bit spammy tho, given the number of security issues/patches on windows.
 
Maybe if the news people see a post on the forum that they think is relevant for news, they could post it on the main site linking to the original thread?

Everyone could get a chance of being on the news section of the site then, but the moderators and news posters would have control over what they see as fit to be on the news??
 
Lately I have just been peeking at it whenever there is a new post , but it is a good source of info especially for one guy.:worship:
 
I missed this, I`ve voted for the 2nd one.

It was the fact that I read a handful of PV`s newsies that fish-hooked me in the first place.

Since then, the other guys who post newsy stuff add to the overall richness and depth - maybe not so much if u frequent a number of other sites, but I realized midway through last year that I can`t afford the time to keep even a handful of sites for this`n`that, and decided OC3D pretty much does what I want.

Excellent stuff imo.

There's no 'I' in team mate ;) Pat yourself on the back too. Here's to an even better, up to date coverage. We might even have to get ourselves together for CES next year :)

Heh, I was thinking the same thing. I must say an E3 would also be uber.

It'd be perfect timing, I have 6 weeks holidays when it's on. E3 would be super :)
