Windows has been broken since July, and Microsoft just confirmed it.

My sister is an educator. This makes sense why the other week she kept complaining how for months now her laptop felt like ****. She's moved to the apple ecosystem now.
Good job MS. Thank God I'm still on W10.

They simply do not understand just how much people have started to hate Windows and their incessant insistence on AI. And they won't understand until it is too late. They're gonna die on that AI hill.

AI has totally ruined browsing the internet for me due to all the errors it makes.

As for Youtube, AI has made it almost unusable.

I remember back in the days of MS DOS, it was easier to use a word processor or spreadsheet than it is now.

All this rubbish Microsoft has included in modern software to make it "easier to use" has had the opposite effect.

The biggest insult is Microsoft put up their software prices so we have to pay for garbage like AI.

Yeah, Google has become increasingly useless due to AI and ads. Windows is no longer snappy, despite faster hardware and SSD storage. They things they add seem to get in the way of doing what you want to do, rather than accelerate workflows.

Things feel like they are going backwards.

One of the worst things I found is AI bots on FB making posts in groups just to generate traffic. They ask the dumbest, simplest questions that's really should not need asking at times.

I do really like CoPilot app at helping me with my work at work. I don't like all integrated stuff. I does feel like it slows things down a bit.

Been following this feller for a while as he develops a very handy tool called Winhance which now lets you install a debloated version of Windows 11 and it actually makes a difference.

For any interested I highly recommend it -

I think we should just make Windows 7 great again. I don't think anybody would be upset about that.
Nah, I remember having to reinstall it pretty often, and every time I did, I’d lose a whole day tweaking things just to get it working the way I wanted. Windows 10 was the only OS that never needed much tweaking, and was easy to reinstall when necessary. It’s the best OS Microsoft has ever made IMHO.
