XMS3 1333mhz shown as 667?

hey guys, i have 3x2GB 1333mhz ram in my pc but 3dmark and things bring them up as 667mhz?

is there a particular reason for this? i have tried different settings in bios but nothing seems to change it

worked out as dual channel (even if it is triple) - it's multiplied by two

so 2 x 666.6 = 1333

okay thanks, one more question; if i brought a further 6GB @ 1600Mhz will it read one set as 1333 and one as 1600 or what? :S

if you mix memory modules on the same mobo - the timings/speed will always drop back to the lowest installed

It will run as fast as the slowest component, therefore at 1333Mhz not 1600Mhz.

i thought it may like wit GPU's if 2 are in SLI but ones overclocked, it'll underclock to the others specs

I know this is from a long time ago but I've recently bought another 6GB kit same model just slightly better latency timings.

I wondered if I set them to run at 1600Mhz (as in both to run @1600) will they both run at 1600? or rather 800 x 2?

Also how would I know if the (even though slight) over clock is stable? I mean I'm not really an over clocker, so if its a complex procedure (i.e. requires tinkering with volts & things) don't worry I'll keep it at 1333
