Lots of 'these passive cards are junk, I oc'ed my past one, ran it under full load for a day and it couldn't keep up with my 980ti'. Always a chuckle reading 'the book'. The comments somehow relating new gen products to the 10 year old dust filled gpu they have...top f*!king notch.
Like both xfx and sapphire did with the r9 250 these little cards are awesome for people who don't need 1080p max settings and also want a quiet pc...
Next step would be however for big OEMs to start using these cards in their prebuilt workstations...
Having a lab full of pcs that have a graphics card with the tiniest of fans spinning at extreme speeds is noisy and annoying.
(Seriously, the graphics cards on these machines are the loudest things, take a Dell Opitplex 70xx and compare the sound levels with and without the graphics card
