Hi guys. I have recently started hearing a ticking sound coming from my PSU. Turns out, that I'm not the only one with this problem.
XFX fan problems are all over their products
Apparently, the only way I can get this fixed is if I send it back to my dealer, and have them ship me out another XFX PSU, with the chance of having the exact same problem. I knew I should've gone with the Corsair AX850. I'm pretty frustrated by this, as I just sent back my OCZ SSD, which I had to pay for shipping, and now I'm going to have to do it again. I honestly feel like I should just keep the PSU. It isn't noticable, nor permanent, it just happens every so often, and I can only hear it when I don't have any sound coming from my speakers/headset, but god damn, those moments are horrid!
Not bashing XFX, but I was originally going to get a XFX 6950, and now I'm glad I didn't. On the bright side it is one sexy looking PSU in my Raven, especially since I can see the XFX Black Edition logo
