Heard this and seen the banner ads about.

Thing that spooked me was 9 series... what`s that all about ?

I`d have thought 9 series would be more than happy with the coh (or whatever) and GTX2xx with the Farcry2, and have a chance of playing it well.

How well does it run on a 9800GT ?

Could be tho that bundles are bundles and if ur shifting to a software supplier for it via nVidia via contracts, that u have to shift fully to them for ur whole range(s).

Could also have been part of the contractual wranglings we`ve only heard snip-bits about. Lots of existing stock out there that needs to be replaced by the new bundle - who knows. Exclusivity is what it is.

Great game tho, see how long it takes for 10.1 to be patched out of it

It'll run 1/2 decent on a 9800GT mate. It's an obvious strategy to get rid of older cards but it is bound to shift some as FC2's a hot title

I ve got 8800GT, Im getting constant 60+ fps on farcry2 with all settings on Very High, DX10, 4x AF and 1680*1050 rez

oo that`s good to know. Was gonna w8 until I upgraded my 8800GT to check it out. Don`t think I`ll w8 now

'constant' it's a little glitchy and jumpy but i'm guessing with patches this will slowly go away.

it's not as demanding as crysis, but doesn't look as good lol so meh.

Rast if you've got an 88gt go for it

Yea my 9 series runs it great no problem. Fun little game just i think they could have done more with it considering the time put into it. My son loves watching me play

FC2 does run on a 8800GT, I tried the highest settings without the beta drivers and it wasn't too bad lol.
