XFX 8800GT Cooler Replacement

Does any one know of a good aftermarket cooler for my 2 XFX 8800GT's.

hmm, the only one i know is the Thermaltake DuOrb VGA Cooler and Zalman VF1000, if im right both fit the 8800. try searching for any review of them, good luck.

Try the Arctic Cooling Accelero or the Akasa Vortexx Neo, both are good for different reasons. The AC is dirt cheap but with exceptional cooling capabilities, (and quiet/silent depending on the fan you use for it), whilst the Akasa is still respectable in both noise and heat departments, but it pumps the hot air out the back of your case.

Both are dual slot solutions afaik.

I've got a Zalman VF-1000 for my 8800gt which is pretty good. Thing is tho, it all comes down to how many expansion slots that you have free and the layout of your motherboard. Most aftermarket vga coolers take up 2 pci slots which, together with your card equals 3 slots. If your not using the slots for anything else then you will have a much better choice.

My brother upgraded his 8800GTs with the Zalman vf1000 and cannot recommend them highly enough. Much cooler and much quieter.

He's even more demanding than I am, which is saying a lot, so take it as a glowing 5* recommendation.
