It comes out to £14.99 according to a mate of mine who works in a local GAME store, So not really that expensive plus the XB1 controller feels a lot better in the hands than the older 360 controller.

I run an internal adaptor for my old Xbox wireless and it's hidden in my front ODD bay. It works really well.

the amount i use a controller vs kb/mouse or my wheelie wheel means i will stick to my wired 360 controller.
I rarely use the things and the times i do use them it does the job.

true, but considering I picked up my xbone controller for 25 euro it makes the adapter look expensive
