Xbox games on Xbox 360 ?

Hey there... is it possible to play xbox games on the 360 ? I've asked some friends but each of them tells me a different story. I guess you guys know it so i ask you

I am pretty much 100% positive the answer is yes just like PS1 games played on the PS2.

you can, but not all, there is a compatibilty list, with microsoft working with developers to bring as many as possible over to the 360. You download the config files for the games over xbox live.
