It seems that Microsoft plans to ship "alpha versions" of its hardware to developers in 2027. Hard to know what the release plans are. With DRAM and NAND being what they are, costs might prevent Microsoft from building enough units for retail in a reasonable timeframe.

Maybe Iran can help by bombing every data centre until it's no longer financially viable to build new ones and the whole idea gets scrapped. It will never happen but I can dream.

Technically if you went after Nvidia exclusively that would solve 80% of the problem.
