Xbox 360 Hacked...it's official

After years of DVD and game piracy, Microsoft has spent millions of dollars locking down the Xbox 360's copy protection. But the software giant forgot to apply its own copy protection to a game sampler disk it sent to retailers just after the console launched, giving crackers a perfect reference specimin to Xbox 360 file system and game software.

Crackers are reportedly delighted and are now taking orders for the Xbox 360 mod chip now. DOH!!! :rolleyes: :eek:

I really hope they switch up the ***** controller on the PS3... I really think that it would do a better job pleasing women than anything else.
 
erm, its by far not cracked. they can only read and write to the memory card/hard drive. They still cannot run any unsigned code. therefor it's hasnt been "cracked"
 
well, it took 8 months for the xbox, and the xbox360 has far more security features. all the hackers/crackers said they wouldnt of bothered trying if it didnt have a normal dvd drive in.
 
The 360 is higer profile though, the only people who /cared/ about the Xblock where people of the impression that Halo is teh 1337 FPS!!!
