Hi Boys and girls.

I have some money to burn and I am looking for a x800XT. Does anyone know a good place that has them in stock so I can order today and deliver tomorrow. :D
 
Epi Who have you tried today? I know Daz got his from Tekheads and SPD were supposed to be getting ASUS but they is as hard for us punters to get hold of as it was for Nancy to get hold of Svens nutz :eek:

i bought mine from dabs, they are supposed to be getting a few in this week, wether they do or not tho.. but for £315 for the Conect 3D version (which seems to be the fastest stock XT PE around) im prepared to wait :P

Why your at it which board would you recommend for the FX-53????
 
I have looked and looked and cannot find anyone that has an x800xt thats available now.:(

if anyone see's one can they let me know

ATi is unable to supply the demand atm so i guess you need to wait and wait :/ but i guess i was lucky to of got mine a couple of months ago.

or you can use the pencil trick.

Is the 'pencil trick' just a matter of reducing the resistor value by having another resistance (the graphite) in parallel?In which case it is easy to remove, but presumably not that easy to control.

btw standin wave i've noticed you have a Abit Max 3 and was wondering if the Vcroe fluctuates much @ load as i'm planning to replace my Asus.?

As I have, sadly, posted elsewhere I ain't even startied building the system yet as I sold my Connect 3D 9800XT on ebay expecting the X800XTPE to be available!! So the mobo is still in its box. I'll let U know when I build how it sits

How much did you get for it on ebay????

My 9800XT is installed with a Heat Pipe...

also going to get a FX53

After some kid messing me about who ordered at least 6 graphics cards before his mother sorted him out, I got £225 less ebay charges
