hi have a question regard the score i received with my x4 965. My vantage score seem way to high! i have seen x6 proccessor not even get 30k why does my x4 965 receive a score of 48,944???

Random info my gpu is a gtx 465 clocked at 765/1530/1845

Is this score good or bad, but most importantly why is the cpu score so high??

Was Physx on or off? If it was turned on your card, it takes stress off the cpu to score higher.

it was defiantly on, so does that mean its not a valid score? im guessing i can disable phys x in the nvidia control panel, but why would someone want it disabled?

Well you can put physx on your cpu OR your gpu. So keep that in mind when viewing scores is all. Some people like to test with it off, some people don't.

but in regards to...lets say gaming whats the best option? phys x on the cpu or gpu? will u get improved performance if you let the cpu do all the phys x and let the gpu do the rest?

If you had a cpu that is not even breaking a sweat, you could put it on the cpu. Likewise, if you have a overkill gpu, it wouldnt hurt to let the gpu run the physx. Some people like to throw in a cheap older nvidia card and dedicate it to physx.

what should i do i have the x4 965 clocked at 4ghz and the gtx 465... My cpu never gets maxed, so would it be ok to put the phys x on the cpu in my situation?

I don't see why not. Try it both ways, see what you prefer, you probably won't even notice a difference unless your playing a physx heavy game.
