The most interesting thing about tech in 2026 is the pricing. With everything else getting more expensive, not many people will be rushing to buy new CPUs. Older but still viable CPU's are cheap and easy to find second-hand or on AliExpress, which is great for new builders who need to put most of their budget into the GPU and RAM. I’m still on AM4 with DDR4 and perfectly fine staying there until the pricing settles down, which probably won’t be soon. Luckily, with a new GPU and 64 GB of RAM, I’m set for a while...hopefully.

AMD's going to have to come in strong with Zen 6 and X3D to compete, With 600 and 800 series boards compatibility, Pricing will also be crucial.
