X1900 XTX Mastercard?

Does anyone know if there are any plans for ATI to release one of these?

As I see it now, it's a tad pointless buying an XTX and a Crossfire master as the master is slower than the XTX thus limiting the clock speed of the XTX?

i always felt xtx was for single card buyers... xt's + master card were for xfire users.... most xt's do xtx speeds tho

The main reason I ask is as I am seriously considering just saying b*llocks to all responsibility this month and spending massive amounts on gaming goodies. I don't want to spend my wonga and then find that the XTX mastercards arrive two days later!

I would sit for a little while I think with all the new nvidia cards out at the moment ati needs to step up to the plate which in time they will but then they will also be releasing their next gen cards not long after :O

June release for next Gen ATI - August release for next Gen Nvidia.

It's possible that Nvidia might release 32pipe 7900 Ultras before then...... if the yield allows it
