Would a regular HD7870 waterblock work with the tahiti le edition?

I think you'd have more luck with a 7950 waterblock, since that's what it's based on...

I'm saying no and I disagree with iBeInspire after looking at the PCBs of reference 7960 and 7870 cards compared to the tahiti le edition.

You only need look at the holes in the pcb, never-mind component layout.

You might have to look at a Core only block.

Looks like you'll have to wait for a custom waterblock for this one, or go with an ugly universal block. Since voltage can't be played with according to Tom, i guess you won't really need water on this thing. I ordered mine yesterday (VTX3D boost be edition), I'll keep you guys updated, but my best advice would be a univeral wb or air cooler
