I dont really want to spend more than £200 but is the x1900xt worth it for gaming? If so which one and is the extra cashload worth it?

which manufacturer would you go with? The powercolor one seems the best performance / price as it keeps up with the x1900xt! would you agree?

Powercolor are a good solid "no-fuss" brand. I recommend them :)

Core 2 duo e6600

G. skill 6400 2gb

EDIT: Get a Lian Li or Silverstone - much better build quality

Agreed.

Or even a Coolermaster - but let us know what model first, as even some of those are a bit questionable.

make sure you get a good brand and remember W doesnt say that much how good it is, i have seen 550w being able to put out LESS power than my good brand 380w psu can.

tagan ocz antec and enermax is 4 good brands, there are more out there.

nothing below 400w preferbly minimum 480w so it will last more than 1 upgrade ;)

For a modular PSU i'd go with either the new Tagan modular units, or a Silverstone Strider 600w.

OCZ, Enermax and Antec all do good modular units, but personally one of the above two.
