Tip: These are scannable, just as with the 2.4ghz spectrum

Never heard of them and I don't see this catching on not to mention that it's old technology now. Nvidia and everyone else are making 500 series GPU's

What is the intended application for this? Maybe toss your image signal to a tv upstairs...or out to a tv in the garage...? I'm just curious.

Lol how did you find this. Searched for gfx card and wireless at same time? It is kind of cool but it should be like a netbook or something less powerful can use it wirelessly to play games so that u can play them while sittin in the toilet

Personally I wouldn't use this, im fine with my gfx card directly on my motherboard.

And Adicool I think he may seen it on Kotaku, it was published on there a few days ago.

Was gonna post it, but couldn't be bothered

Well. Maybe some people are sick of having to go to the back of their PC and plugging in their monitor?

Yeah maybe its a step to eliminate monitor cables? I mean we have wireless mice, keyboards, why not monitors. When they can figure out wireless power...thats when its gonna get crazy up in herr.

It still plugs into the motherbaord pci e wireless connections load have a massive mast like 6 ft large pass that level of data

Yeah, I think it's pretty much pointless aswell.

Guess they just wanted to see if it could be done

Well this already exists kinda on other devices more we new could be done just exploring a market gap i reckon was there idea but not very well thought out one.

It's a neat idea

Can see this finding a good home in a media PC

yeah htpc for like dvr for whole house without the wiring issues. and continue the same feed without having to restart it like some do.

very neat isea indeed

one thing i wonder about is how on earth you are going to control the pc without wires.the range of this is apparently 30m, and even 10/15m away, in another room, controlling the pc wirelessly is going to be a challenge.

I think you'd need to be in the business where cables and connections at length are a pita to appreciate this kind of thing.

I've got to think in that sense for a business reason, but am hoping to make the bill big enough for a media pc->large screen for *cough* home + remote. Stick the pc anywhere in the house
