wondering about raptors

ok first I wanna say hi to the forum. I am from the states and am glad to find a forum like this good job.Ok first of im building a machine to read email and maybe some solitare. here are the specs and how far i am.

3.4 pentium(not yet)

crosair or how ever its spelled memory pc 4400( not yet)

asus 800e deluxe(bought)

mach 2(bought)

lian 75 case (i know alittle big but i like it)(bought)

ati 9800xt(not yet)

swiftech water cooled north bridge and video card and hard drives(bought)

silent x 600 power supply(bought)

lights and asorted stuff(mostly bought)

ok anyway i was looking at the 74gb raptors I wanna know how loud they are. I have a seagate barracuda in my water cooled set up and I cannot hear it.

another ? does anyone have there raptors in a raid 0? was wondering if they have a speed increase? cause i hate it when my already read email pops up slow
