windows vista 5744

hi there just got latest vista and having loads of probs installing it.

wont get past first part.

using asus p5wdh mobo .

can any1 here tell me how to get it to install on my sata drives.

not bothered about stripped raid0 but if any1 cn give me a step guide that would be fantastic.

really want to see what this operating system is all about.

Hi M8 have you got the vista drivers for the sata disc as these need to be loaded at the start of instal like windows XP, but insted of holding down F6 you need to install them when the window shows you your disc drive just click install drivers for disc drive and then click next and it should install ok.

hiya the install dont get that far just as windows screen apears screen goes black then reboots.

Try disconecting some hardware that is not needed to start with like sound card ECT, then goto coms and disable any outher bits that are not needed to start with, also set all settings in the coms to standerd as if anything is clocked this could cause problems.
