Windows Update Problem

Everytime that windows update icon appears in the toolbar i click it and it disappears. It just keeps doing this. Anybody have a solution for this?

Yeah ditto had the same problem as you , when I went to download updates off the website the auto updater fixed .

I'm trying that now. Takes forever to figure out what updates i need.

Have you hidden updates in the past? This can cause the tray icon to do that. Go to the update website, choose custom, then on the left you can restore hidden updates and inspect your update history. (Just in case you didn't know).
