So I asked a question on Microsoft's website and got something of a cryptic message back:

Either it's one of those default answers that won't lead to anything, or it's a subtle way of saying "It's coming. Watch this space."
Could be something to watch as not everyone wants to fork out for CyberLink or an equivalent and with Microsoft pushing the whole "we care about PC" thing it'd be nice to have parity with the Xbox One for officially supported media.
