Windows 8.1 issue or RAM issue?

Hi guys,

Just got my New Corsair Dominator 2133 in the post today and is all fitted and working sort of fine. The only issue that I have at the moment is in the bios my ram is set to a X.M.P Profile of 2133 but for some reason windows thinks its only running at 1600. CPUz on the other hand is agreeing with the motherboard. Any Ideas?

MotherBoard: MSI GD-65 Z75
CPU: i7 4770K

Any help will be appreciated

How are you checking the speed with Windows ?

If CPU-Z says it's at 2133 then it's at 2133 so don't worry

Well it says 1066.5 but x2 its 2133. And yeah windows task manager was saying 1600. but if CPUz says it then its all good thanks

If you go to the "memory" tab in cpu-z and the "channel #" is "dual" then its all good
