Windows 7 installation cant use mouse or keyboard

Hi guys so when i install Windows 7 from my USB stick i cant actually use my keyboard and mouse they are fine in the bios but when i get to the windows 7 installation screen (terms and conditions) they stop working, have no idea what to do any suggestions would be appreciated

This has happened to me before but after a few minuets the mouse has started working again.

could the reason be im not connected to the internet?

Shouldn't be, technically you don't need a internet connection to install, only to activate Windows, but that part is optional. Don't know what it could be to be honest, every time that has happened to me my mouse has started working after a few minuets.

This happened to me to, when you get to the windows setup screen, unplug the mouse and keyboard then plug them back in.

Should work after that

Thanks for that but it didnt work

i did get it done though but had to go to a mates and get a ps2 keyboard and mouse lol

most likely issue is/was usb not setup in bios. This will allow use in bios but not post....post
