I bet if it wasn't for the enthusiast community at large a lot of issues would never get looked at and fixed which says a lot about how dishonest all these companies are as surely a lot of these problems get seen in testing.

I dont think seeing a latency in the nanoseconds as an essential bug fix. Probably ignored or fell within some small tolerance limit which is why it was never addressed.
But as with anything that hits social media now... it spreads like some mosaic dominoe effect, gets blown out of proportion, but still needs to be addressed and fixed asap before the "Cancel crowd" start chanting outcry and demanding heads roll at Microsoft.
Even if you hammer the system with multitasking and the likes.. the difference is just so small its not going to cost you any kind of revenue loss.
