They will release a new one.. not doing so would be a pretty dumb idea tbh. If they stopped everyone would switch to either Crapple or Ubuntu(not that i have anything against them) but it would just be chaos. To many versions of Ubuntu to really get any kind of standard on it. They also have a 90% market share so they wouldn't just let them all go. In the future they might make a more module OS, where things can be taken out and new ones put in so its constantly updating. That'd be the closest to them saying not making a full blown new one, but rather make the new one then improve upon it until not feasible.
