Windows 10 Priced

Dont really see why it would matter, after all most people would have a win7/8 serial already, and if they dont, they could just grab a 7/8 key for cheap right now and just upgrade.

Pirates will go on pirating since they dont already have a key and are too stingy to grab a 7/8 key right now even though it is so cheap and they wouldnt have to pay the cost of adapting new software at launch.

I remember years ago I had a Vista license on my Alienware rig. Microsoft were offering a free 64 bit DVD. Well, sort of. You ran your key and paid a £7 handling charge and they sent you a 64 bit DVD. Sadly OEM keys did not work so it may be retail only. Either way my 8.1 serial has died so I'm going to bite the bullet and buy a retail copy because I want DX12.

If you are already on W7/W8.1 then don't bother.. just wait till the free upgrade and save money

Oh I wonder why I have it then it says "Get Windows 10" so I clicked on it I had to give my e-mail address to reserve it then it said it will download Windows 10 once available.
I'll get a notification after it is downloaded then I just install it whenever I am ready

Was it in Windows update or just the action center?

Its a windows sign in between the flag for the action center and show hidden icons bottom right hand side of screen

Sadly I don't have the upgrade option as the windows key I bought from a Reddit vendor along with a few others from here has been blocked by MS so now I need to wait a while until I can afford to buy a legit version of windows

What happens if you reserve it, install it and then might have to reinstall windows etc?... does it make any difference or so?...

I did not see the icon either but then I did an update restarted and it was there. It is the MS flag in the notification area.

you have to reserve it because microsoft doesn't want to download a 3GB update and update your computer with a new OS without your permission.

Indeed, Odd though as he's a trusted seller and has been selling for a number of years, I've tried contacting him but he's ignored me.
