Will the 3770K Ivy work with a ZALMAN CNPS11X Extreme?

as the title indicates i was wondering if the ZALMAN CNPS11X Extreme will work on the ivy bridge. know it works on the sandy bridge. but thinking of getting the ZALMAN CNPS11X Extreme to go with the ZALMAN Z11 Plus Case.

Yes...Ivybridge and Sandybridge use exactly the same socket...

yes it works with all these sockets:

It is a high end air cooler? You'll only have problems if you're wanting to overclock the hell out of it, in which case I'd go for the Noctua NH-D14, or the H100 with better fans

if i oc it will be mild via built on features on mobo or included software. heat killed my old system by causing psu to fail n take everything out. think i can salvage my bd reader/ dvd burner and my gtx 280.

mobo im looking at is a ASRock Z77 Extreme6
