I'm building a new system and i'm getting a Antec Nine Hundred Two case, but i'm not too sure if the ATI HD5870 (HIS) graphics card would fit? If so, is it tight?
depend on were the power connecters are man,i have a 900 v1 and a 4890 i think them cards are like 10inch and the 5870 is 11inch so it will easy fit there is like 2-3 inches of room in my case
I ran a 4870 in a 900 Mk1, but the 5870 has power connectors on the side I think, so it doesn't get in the way of HDD cages etc. Should fit, but as TTL said, you can get cooler cases. No danger of watercooling a 900, trust me
i share the same hatred for antec's "higher end offerings" go for a raven RV02B if you can stretch too that price the cooling performance is unmatchable. yes it has loads of plastic but its the presentable plastic really well built.
