I'd have to disagree with you there. I've played over 700 hours of BF3 on my Dell IPS and have had no problems at all with ghosting or input lag. Having said that, the experiences may be different for other people.

P.S. I agree with SuB about the extra 120 pixels.

I don't see how those extra 120px make that big of a difference?

There is no difference in sharpness, you can simply view more text/code with the extra vertical space.

Honestly once you're used to 16:10, 16:9 is just strange. it's an odd thing to be used to but it does make all the difference.
