Wich PSU?

So next month i will get a

A8-3850

ASUS F1A75-M Pro

2x2gb Blackline

So wich PSU should i get? I plan on hybrid xfire, or whatever it is called, in the near future

And do socket AM3 coolers fit on socket FM1?

EDIT: Okay so i am torn between this and:

i3-2100

ASUS P8P67 pro

Club 3D 550ti

Will the 400w still be nough for the intel build?

i reckon you stick with the AX850 or maybe a OCZ ZX 850 and in answer to your other question the AM3 coolers will fit on the FM1 motherboard

crossfire (or whatever its called) with the integrated gpu in your processor is not very beneficial in many games (some as little as 10% over dedicated gpu alone), in some reviews it even says it can make the performance worse than just the dedicated gpu.

according to this dx9 games are affected by performance decrease, i would suggest if you are a gamer to try a different processor (phenom 2 or i3 possibly) and go for a proper gpu now. if you post a budget i could give you a quick spec for a pc

ok, do you want to have a whole new pc or a upgrade for an old one. if whole new pc what is budget, if upgrade what are current specs case, psu etc and budget and us forum members can recommend some components. also what will this pc be used for heavy or lite gaming or just an home office pc.

This is will be LAN rig so i want it to be able to play games but also as simple as possible, that's why i chose the APU

I reconsidered the GPu and i will just use the APU by itself, so will a 300w be enough?

yes 300w will be good enough for the apu alone, when you have this built you could try this trick

according to this normally the consumption is about 210w (ish) for an apu system and the apu can be undervolted with no loss in stability/performance to decrease the power draw to about 150w. the 300w psu wil handle it either way but you could save 1/4 of the power for no loss.

i would love to see how this build gets on mate please post a build log.

if it is availabe in denmark i would suggest the Fractal Design Core 1000 link

the CM looks like a good case but for only a small ammount more (about £5 in UK) you do get a noticable increase in build quality and an all black interior, im actually considering this for a friends build atm. the CM will be fine but i find Fractal do not make bad cases

What video card are you going to be using? If it's just a mid range one then even 500w+ should be enough
