^^ thanks :), now just the last min worries of E6850 v Q6600, and if i should get a GTX instead of a GTS lol ><

Np.

Q6600 + GTS or a 7 series and wait for G92 in November/December.

Maplins

Its pretty shocking tbh.

To load - 4 instances of prime, small fft's for ram and cpu and rthdribl for gfx.

The upside is the psu never makes a noise as it is never tested - pcp&p rate it to 825w output, you were right, I'll never need to buy another psu again.

Edit: Noticed there was some free ram so loaded memtest too, and maximised rthd... Added 70w so Real full load 470w

Nice find there dude, i'd better start counting the pennies:p.

I wish maplins would sort out their site, ive looked on there numerous times for one of them:(

It isn't accurate.

+1. It isn't accurate at all, even if you factor in the inefficiency.

Na, it'll be fine :)

Also take into account that your reading from the mains will be higher than the actual power being drawn from the PSU by your components as the PSU is only 80-85% efficient.

Yeah. My Enermax Liberty peaked around 500w from the wall, so if it was 80% efficient that'd only be 400w DC power.
