  • I`d like a weekly b1tch of the week award for each division. Winner and runners up each year get quality pink shirts as a prize.
  • Replays of every game studied and fines given.
  • Referees develope a backbone.

I`m sure there`s more.

What`s this acting hard business when one of ur players falls to the floor cos he got some mud on his socks - rolling everywhere. Team m8s fronting up to each other like they`re gonna do something ? Bit girly.

U seen footballers and recognized hardmen irl ? pffft.

I'll prolly get a slap for kemp for saying this, but I think football is a disgrace to this country. Not because of the sport itself but more for the top players that are a bunch of spoilt little tw@ts with too much money, not enough brains and no talent.

I wont even go into ticket prices, louts or how hardly any teams seem to have players from the county the represent (let alone the country).

Just for the record, I wasn`t ~necessarily~ meaning the EFA, I was just trying to avoid saying soccer and getting more b1tching.
 
Although i hate it when players go down after a gush of wind, but the english are not as bad as the italian league!! they get blown down and roll half way up the pitch. There was some thought about using video replays like in rugby, but they scrapped the idea. Unsure why though.

Some people say because its part of the game, waiting for the refs decision. But if video replay were introduced i think we'd see alot more entertaining football without the divers!

Highlighted is the reason our game is now full of pancy nonces.

I pretty much agree, footballers get paid too much and have too much power. Coupled with the fact Celebrity Culture makes them icons...and add to that the fact they're all useless foreign idiots and most of em aren't actually English...

Well you have a farcical English game and international
 
I still support a football team, but believe rugby is far more value for money. The players show respect to the referee, dont cry when they get hurt, and fight each other when they do.

I Hope you have all been to rugby matches at some stage, and if it is entertainment you are after you can't go far wrong with rugby league, just for the cheerleaders :p

i dont mind being patriotic, but most sports on the telly are just a waste of time

sports are a thing of the past, they should be retired apropriatly...

or is my view too extreme d'ya think?....

Sports are great if you get involved in supporting a team etc. I go and watch gillingham play football allot and really enjoy it even though some people may say there only in league one. I also go and watch Chatham town play sometimes thats great entertainment and better than Primiership football as the players are playing because they love the game not for tons of money!!

could you imagine if we all lost interest in sports! We'd all weigh the same as a double decker bus!
 
that would be the only bad thing though...

there would be no more football rivalry, no more drunken fights over football (altho i guess they would just find somthing else to fight about) and any remaining patriotism amonst the uneducated yobs, would be gone...
 
Nothing wrong with Patriotism in my opinion.

Sports are great for interactivity between people and provide a great social network for those who play regularly. Also they make a fun and interesting talking point and a point of reference for people from different backgrounds, class and education to join in conversation. Not to mention the obvious physical benefits.

Sport is also a great way to blow off steam and satisfies humans primal urges in a controlled and fun environment
