Why can't we have a standard for front panel switches and indicators????

All of it is hosted on OC3D Uploads server which is down for maintenance still :( Hoping for a speedy return.

Oh ic, sorry I should have thought of that, I have been a bit out of the forum loop the last couple of days, but I have something pretty cool to show for it, hopefully I will post some pics up soon.

U better, or death shall come swiftly to decapitate u in your sleep! Muahaha. Ok a bit graphic but... show us what ya got!

Those damn little wires were the most frustrating part of my PC build. I was going nuts tryin to fit them all in. Not very user friendly at all

Sounds perfect.

However, it`s going to take something akin to an act of congress to get all the mobo manufs to adhere to this.

THEN, convincing the case manufs that they won`t lose sales cos their connectors don`t comply with slightly older mobos. It`d be short sighted of them I guess, cos they could include in the box a connector that will allow the user to revert back.

Agreed tho, it`s a pita. When I was thinking of the project that I`ve now shelved, I purchased mobo power connectors, male & female, to do exactly this job for me. (with some scope to add some other things like fan power or something).

Give em hell!

Yeah i mean technically you could this on your own quite easily... you could pick up the appropriate size connector to fit your mobo's pinout from somewhere like Mouser and then cut off all of the single pin connectors from the case's cable and wire them appropriately in to the new connector and have a single plug. But why can't the manufacturers just do that for us?!??!?!?!
