I'm not sure yet. The constituency I live in is always pretty close between conservatives and labour, neither of which have my confidence. I disagree with a lot of the lib dems policies and the green party push their policies far too hard.
I'll go through their policies closer to the time and probably talk to any of the ones which seem to be sane.
As south park said, it's always a choice between a ***** and a giant douche.

conservative for me. anyone voting on the head man is an idiot in my mind, theyre a face, theres a hell of a lot more in UK politics than that. Look at the policys, put 30mins effort in, may completely change your mind. Politics is not about the head man, frankly its about the civil servants who'll be there the next time round, thus I vote on policies that will change that.

^ This. I could be made Prime Minister tomorrow (and pray to God that I'm not) and not a lot would change because by the time I got my changes into Parliment they'd be filibustered and amended so much that I'd be out of office before the changes happened.
Nobody can make any real changes, apart from to taxation. We aren't going to "bring the boys home" because that would upset America and we need them to protect us from the Russians. We aren't going to tax the CEOs, because that would remove party funding and possibly cause those same politicians to lose their seat on a board when they choose to retire. Feathering your own nest comes above moral obligations. They wont create enormous amounts of jobs for the working classes because that would eat into the profits of the few companies who are still nationalised, and the government is in no position to dictate to private industry what they must do.
Anyone who votes solely on the basis of the person who heads a party, or even on unlikely promises, needs to watch the whole of Yes Minister. It's as true today as it was then.

I wanted to vote for UKIP last elections but I couldn't because they didn't have a representative in my borough. I thought that sucks balls as I wanted to vote for what party had control over the country and not just some bell-end in my borough.
Conservative it is for me I guess, unless UKIP have got someone representing. Well had also better check their policies as they have probably changed somewhat since last elections.

I have a real problem with elections because my father is lets just say fairly well versed in politics so I know and have been tediously shown the data to prove:
Conservatives ruined the country economy (good ol' Maggie)
Labour have strengthened businesses only to allow strengthening with invisible money.
LibDem record for winning even local elections (regardless of how normal their policies are) will never get in.
Conservatives are all for bringing the wealth back to the country but are for the rich and always have been. Wasted vote number 1.
Labour are run by a very good accountant (but a ****head PM) so everything is lost there.
LibDem talk a good game but are the fat kid in school for PE and will never get a chance.
All the rest are either completely mental or selfish causes.

I used to be a staunch Labour voter, as the Tories decimated Yorkshire's mining industry amongst other crimes to us Yorkies, and they were traditionally seen as the 'Working man's Party', but this time the Tories are getting my vote. At the end of the day, I see no real difference between the two parties nowadays, but Labour deserve to lose, it's as simple as that really

Any1 who stands for non-"PC" things, isn't a "greenie", doesn't promote +ve discrimination, doesn't promote money for career non-workers, intends-and does put coppers on the streets and out of their cars/safe-havens (coppers being 6' and able to handle themselves, with gcses and to a fitness degree tested on a yearly basis), believes in sterilization after the birth of the first out-of-partnership child (and if both are out of work for a long period), aggressively anti-religious, aggressively anti-car, for making grades tougher, more stricter hospital systems, bigger prisons with no fascilities, free unrestricted broadband ....

Voting a party line doesn't appeal to me. Voting for some prat I can't stand each time they open their mouth doesn't appeal to me. Tactical voting doesn't make any sense either.
All the parties inherently stand for a way of life. Like or loath who-ever is in power, u should be aware that the oppositions always stand for their inherent basic values - those values will come prominent after the election period.
Politicians are politicians.
I will vote for some1 who agrees with a big %age of my beliefs. Until then I will retain the right to moan as I is a tax payer.
