who has dell 2407wfp

i have a dell 2407wfp, and when i play games, i do get a bit of tearing

but dont know if this is because my graphics card isnt goog enough x800@ 850xt pe speeds.

i cant turn on vsync, because its too slow

i just bought an x1900xtx, and was wondering if you think that would get rid of tearing?

Turn on vsync with the X1900 and it should go away. I had a 2405FPW w/ 7800GTX SLI setup and I never noticed any tearing with it.

Ye I also had tearing while playing some games with my monitor, turned on vsync and it disappeared so I would do what frag and kemp said

you guys have better gfx cards than me. im hoping when i get my 1900xtx it will be good and ill be able to play with vsync on

as of right now, its tooo slow.

i thought vsync just limited your max refresh rate, but that doesnt seem to be the case

thats what i thought. so if my refresh rate is 70hz, then it shouldnt cause my graphics to go slower if im less than this right?
