White SuperFlower Leadex Plat or...

Hi all you clever peoples!

I'm looking for a white PSU (my build is currently using a Corsair CX600) and I'm kinda digging the look of the modular SuperFlower Leadex Platinum units.

Anyone use these (either the 1000w or 1200w) and rate them, or would you recommend something different?

I don't really need extra power but having a black brick sat in a white case... well... it just doesn't feel right ;)

Its overkill as f**k dude :P.

For the record they are fantastic performers. Really, really highly rated. Superflower is an OEM like seasonic, EVGA use them.

You could always spray your Black PSU White, it's pretty simple to do as long as your competent enough around electricity.

Heheheheheh! Yeah, I know but there's not that many white PSUs out there. Didn't realise that they were an OEM.

I've learned something new today - which is nice.

Cheers dude :)

Hmmm... that's mostly the reason I'm looking for a ready-built one. I don't even trust myself with attempting watercooling let alone opening up a power supply to paint it.

They also do a 650 Watt and even a 750 and 850 Watt version?

Another manu that sells white PSUs is NZXT, but quality-wise it's difficult to beat the Superflower units.

Hmmm... If I'm replacing the Corsair I really should keep on the quality side of things I reckon.

Good to know there's 750/850 versions. I'm half thinking of doubling up on GPUs and possibly heading to liquid-cooled so 850 might be the right one...

Thanks Feronix
