I'm having the same issue as him though. ABP, AB, Chrome, Edge. They're all the same, so it can't have anything to do with the Adblocking. At the moment, I'm not seeing any ads at all.

Right.. can you do me a few things then?

1) I need a screenshot of the top of the page you're viewing please, to show the top banner, wide banner area, background and skyscraper ads.
2) can you go into your javascript console and check for errors (this may show what's going on)
3) Do you have the Windows 10 Anniversary edition installed?
4) Do you have multiple ad-blockers installed if so, which?
5) Which browser and which version are you using?

For reference, the site should look something like this.

I'm starting to think there is some kind of routing/DNS/web-at-large issue here as the ads are serving absolutely fine for me and I've been keeping an eye on it from various locations over the weekend.. something is definitely wrong but I'm almost dead-sure it's not the site itself after extensive testing.

Just realised that ads work when I turn on my VPN. The problem is probably something to do with the restrictions on my network (I'm at school)

Interesting that you're on what looks like the anni update as well..

So it looks like this is in-fact a google chrome update issue that's blocking their OWN ad serving code, I'm going to delve into this deeper, thanks for the info MadShadow.

So, Chrazey, I'll apologise for my "It's pebkac" comment from earlier, still doesn't justify being p'd the f off though.

I'll look into this as soon as I can, I'm currently at work.

Just for informational purposes. I use an AB and I don't disable it for certain sites. I know, I'm "that guy" but I just find it annoying to do. I whitelisted a couple of sites before and it went back to blocking them which was annoying.

Anyhoo I am on Chrome and the other night the bars mysteriously appeared (noice, very Bioshock !) but since then they have disappeared again.

I also like to (where I can) use full desktop web pages on my phone ('cause it's got the cahooneys) and with no AB I am not getting them on there either.

Okay, can people who have this issue try the main site please aka not the forums. Have just redone the entire ad-set and it should now be serving correctly.

Forums are going to be a bit more tricky to sort >.<

All working fine for me on 2 separate systems one with the anni update and mine which isnt updated yet. Also working on windows mobile, was all working before but I'm on Firefox DE and edge mobile.

It seems like something changed on Chrome over the weekend to do with using document.write to inject Javascript into the page, I've fixed the relevant code on the main site now. So just waiting for reports of it being actually fixed from people who had busted ones, then I'll start the pitfa fix for the forums >.<

I love google, changing stuff without prior warning and turning off their own ad-serving code.. they're just so helpful like that.

For reference mine is running Version 53.0.2785.143 m (64-bit) and shows the error on forums (bunch of JS console stuff) and is fine for the main site now

One of them is always having issues of one thing or another.

I think part of one of the problems sounds like multiple ad blockers and minimal braincells

I think you maybe right just using too many AdBlock's just pick one.

Yeah there will definitely be conflicts, white-listed or not they won't be agreeing with each other.

Yeah UBlock seems super-harsh, noticed it blocks our cross-linking content which is definitely NOT ads, neither AB or ABP block those.. bit disappointing really, but so long as we're whitelisted it doesn't matter

I have the same issue. I whitelisted the site and I only get the stripes on the side, nothing else. If unwhitelist it nothing changes.. damn weird.
Even pausing it AB does nothing or removing it.. soo i'm with Chrazey on this lol

In fact the ads on the side are not visible, just black. However I can still mouse over them and click them which takes me to the relevant ad site. its just visually they are not there.

I would not use Ublock in all honesty if it wasn't for the fact I watch erm, "football streams" that I shouldn't be watching at the weekends.

If Sky could sort out NowTV so that it can run a whole game of football without stopping and going low def all the time I would go back to paying £35 for Sky Sports but alas it's crap (and behind the streams I watch by about three minutes) so I cancelled it.

Sadly AB and ABP etc are not good enough and the pop ups are terrible. UB totally kills them dead, leaving me a couple of Xs to close.
